Environmental sustainability

From 2019 Eustema has implemented an Environmental Management System certified to the International Standard UNI EN ISO 14001, including, from 2021, the development and the constant updating of a greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, in compliance with the certification requirements of ISO 14064-1.

The accurate identification of the emission sources produced by the Company, direct and indirect, significant and negligible, allows Eustema to implement conscious measures to reduce its carbon footprint. This website, that is designed in dark mode graphics markedly energy efficient, is an example.

Commitment to environmental sustainability as a general rule of conduct means prioritizing the principle of life-cycle thinking throughout the supply chain, encouraging responsible sourcing of certified technological devices and recyclable or recycled products ( such as paper and plastics), dematerialization of processes, green-office and recovery of waste produced, and efficient use of natural resources.

The constant attention to the preservation of “our ecosystem” and the commitment to eco-friendly production policies, and since 2020 has also extended to all its staff the option to work 100% remotely: a concrete step towards the reduction of mobility. This will benefit the well-being of its employees and the community where Eustema lives and operates.
