Environmental sustainability

The Eustema Group fully embraces the new EU principle of environmental sustainability DNSH – DO NOT SIGNIFICANT HARM, actively working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and removing all possible inefficiencies in the use of materials and natural resources, with the goal of fostering the transition to a circular economy.

Eustema has implemented an Environmental Management System, under the principles of the UNI EN ISO 14001 standard, and the GHG inventory management system aimed at reporting greenhouse gases emitted, both directly and indirectly, according to the principles specified by the reference standard ISO 14064-1. Carbon footprint quantification allowed Eustema to define the emission baseline, know its overall environmental impact by identifying significant and negligible emission sources, and implement GHG emission reduction actions through conscious choices.

Environmental sustainability commitment is achieved through several initiatives: in the selection of hardware devices, priority is given, where possible, to devices with green certifications; dematerialization of processes and reduction in the use of non-renewable resources (e.g., paper and plastic); and encouraging the recovery of waste produced.

Eustema confirms its focus on environmental protection, the preservation of our ecosystem and its commitment towards eco-friendly production policies, and since 2020 has also extended to all its staff the option to work 100% remotely: a concrete step towards the reduction of mobility. This will benefit the well-being of its employees and the community where Eustema lives and operates.
